Virtual CVOT Summit 2025: From Study to Guideline to Practice: Making Clinical Evidence Work

This session examines how robust clinical evidence is transformed into trustworthy guidelines and applied in everyday care across obesity, kidney disease, hypertension, and chronic liver disease. Expert faculty highlight the use of network meta-analyses to inform obesity pharmacotherapy recommendations and discuss strategies for implementing complex renal guidelines at national and institutional levels. The session also reviews practical approaches to overcoming barriers in hard-to-control hypertension and concludes with a focus on person-centered care, emphasizing what matters most to patients and how shared decision-making and integrated care pathways can improve daily clinical practice.
